Food Bank
Before Christmas, the School Councillors’ Christmas Raffle raised an amazing amount of money which will be donated to our local food bank. Our KS2 school councillors will go to the local Asda store (on Tuesday 27thJanuary 2026 – pm) to purchase the food, hand over what has been purchased and then actually help out at the food bank with the distribution of the food. We believe that when money has been kindly raised for charities it is valuable to see what happens to the donations.
First Aid
KS2 had a visit by St John’s Ambulance who gave all for classes some education on First Aid. Each KS2 class learnt about a different aspect of First Aid, from bleeding, burns and calling for emergency services.
Year 6 were taught how to put a casualty into the recovery position and how to administer CPR.
